Hey there, everyone! My name is Cohen. I’m an avid gamer and tech geek.
I created PC Gaming Guru a few months back, with the goal of sharing my love of PC gaming and PC building with the rest of the world. I’ve been building and operating computers for several years now, and I want to share the knowledge and experience I’ve gained over the years with PC gamers of all stripes – Whether that’s by helping you find awesome new parts for an existing rig, or helping newer PC Gamers get started with a beginner’s build, all of these things (And much, much more) will be covered on this website. If you need tips, advice, or part suggestions – Look no further, you’ve come to the right place.
As I said above, I love PC gaming. I’ve been in love with it ever since I first build a gaming PC with my dad, about 6 years ago. I remember the sole intention of that build being to play Skyrim. It’s funny to look back on now, simply because of how far I’ve come with my technical skills.
While I was always into video games and technology, I never really cared much about the “Why” or “How”. How is a computer put together? How do all the parts interact with eachother? Why and how do they have an effect on gaming performance?
These are questions I didn’t ponder until my first build. After that, my desire to understand technology and the computing world on a deeper level only increased – And I’ve been quite successful in that pursuit so far.
As such, while reading my content, you have full access to me at all times – Whenever you have questions, you are free to ask. I’m happy to help whenever I can, and, as I mentioned before, I have years of experience I can pull from when assisting you.
To talk a little bit about myself – I’m a young, 19 year old with a passion for all things widely considered geeky. I love video games, computers, “Smart” devices, and fancy toilets. I also love to read, write (But not perform arithmetic – Screw math) and tinker with devices or contraptions that have long outlived their usefulness (I recently pulled apart an old hard drive and used the magnets to create a cool shelf). I live in the southern United States at the moment (Gross, I know), but have aspirations to move to the northwest in the future, due to my love of cooler climates (I’d rather freeze my arse off than sweat myself to death). I also love cats, and have 3 of them at the moment.
If you have any questions, concerns, or feedback related to the website and the content I create, I encourage you to connect with me by shooting me an email at [email protected] I’m always happy to help in whatever way I can, and I’ll respond as soon as possible!
Happy Gaming, folks!
