Whether you're new to PC gaming or a grizzled veteran, finding the best parts for your next build should always be your #1 priority.
However, it can also be a little bit intimidating, no matter what your prior experience is. Even for those of you who know what they're doing, starting a new build from scratch can be a slightly daunting prospect.
In fact, I'd venture to say it can be even more daunting for us veterans. We tend to have higher performance standards. As such, we tend to have more complex builds! This means that worrying about compatibility and system temperatures become regular steps in our decision making process.
To ease this burden a bit, I've done you a favor! 🙂 Over the past several months, I've written several PC build guides to meet different budgets and price points. For example, if you're just starting out in PC gaming and want to get your toes wet, a $400 rig may be a better starting point for you than a $1000 rig.
Similarly, if you've already owned one (Or many!) gaming rigs in the past, you're probably looking for something a bit beefier this time around. In that case, a $700 or $800 rig may suit your needs better.
Either way, I have you covered! Below are a few of our most popular builds for you to look over. A full list of ALL of our build guides will be listed below that.

If none of the builds above quite do it for you, there's a couple more options available here. I'm adding to this list regularly as I write more guides, though! It takes time to do extensive research and testing to make every build guide as accurate as it can be.
How To Build a Gaming PC
For those of you who are complete and total beginners, don't worry! I haven't forgotten about you! I know how scary the idea of building a gaming PC can be - especially from scratch, with no prior experience and no professional assistance. However, it's also one of the most rewarding and satisfying experiences you can have.
Building an ultra-powerful machine (Or even a more modest gaming rig) and then using it will give you an awesome feeling of accomplishment!
But, none of that matters if you have no idea where to start! So, I provide you with two options. For "visual" learners, Newegg has an excellent and newbie-friendly video series (On YouTube) that will walk you through the entire process of building a gaming PC.
Alternatively, you can choose to read my full written guide instead! I go over what you'll need, how to assemble your various components, etc.
If you do choose to go the video route, I highly recommend you open it in a new tab ( The button should, by default, open in a new tab) and grab your parts first. It's far easier to follow the video if you have all your parts laid out in front of you - trust me.
That's all, folks!
And that's about it for now. I've created this page so that visitors have an easy, convenient place to see all of my build guides at once. Feel free to favorite it and come back later!
And, perhaps most importantly, I'm always open to feedback! If you have suggestions for any of my build guides, feel free to let me know in the comments or contact me directly. I'd love to hear from you!
